Harrow College

Harrow College is part of the Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges Group (HRUC) and is based on two campuses in Harrow on the Hill and Harrow Weald.

We offer a science A Level package, T-Levels and vocational career-focused courses, in a large range of subjects, as well as apprenticeships in 26 industry sectors.

We provide students with a college experience that focuses on preparing them for a fantastic future. Courses take place in purpose-built facilities, learning from staff with industry expertise, who provide the skills and knowledge students need to succeed in further and higher study and employment. We work with hundreds of employers who provide students with experience in the world of work.

Through our West London Institute of Technology, we offer higher technical qualifications at Levels 4 and 5 in engineering, computing, cyber-security, civil engineering and construction & building services.

The green skills agenda is embedded into our curriculum with units across many of our courses, particularly within building services, construction and sciences. We have discreet units on other courses with further opportunities in development.

We are a strong college group and prior to our merger with Richmond upon Thames College, Harrow College & Uxbridge College’s most recent Ofsted inspection was Good with our ‘Quality of Education’ rated as Outstanding. Harrow College & Uxbridge College was also awarded the BTEC College of the Year Award 2022.

Richmond College

Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges Group (HRUC), based on one campus in Twickenham.

We offer A Levels and vocational career-focused courses, across a range of subjects and apprenticeships. We provide students with an excellent experience learning from industry experts in top-class facilities, with specialist equipment to prepare them for their future careers, whether they progress to higher level courses, university, apprenticeships or go straight into employment. We have strong links with local and national employers providing students with experience in the world of work and career opportunities.

Our courses take place in our new state-of-the-art building with specialist facilities, and students learn from staff with industry expertise who provide the skills and knowledge for students to succeed in further and higher study and employment. 

The green skills agenda is embedded into our curriculum, especially with sustainability, food-to-fork programmes and a number of projects across several of our courses, particularly within construction and engineering where there has been investment in ground source heat pumps, retrofit and PV panels to continue giving the skills and knowledge our learners need to meet employer needs.

We are a strong college group and before its merger with RuTC, Harrow College & Uxbridge College’s most recent Ofsted inspection was Good with its ‘Quality of Education’ rated as Outstanding.

Uxbridge College

Uxbridge College is part of the Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges Group (HRUC) and is based on two campuses in Uxbridge and Hayes.

We offer A-Levels, T-Levels and vocational career-focused courses, across a range of subjects and apprenticeships in 26 industry sectors. We provide students with an excellent experience learning from industry experts in top-class facilities, with specialist equipment to prepare them for their future careers, whether they progress to higher level courses or apprenticeships, university or go straight into employment. We have strong links with hundreds of employers providing students with insight and experience in the world of work.

We are proud to have the main building for our West London Institute of Technology based on Uxbridge Campus, offering higher technical qualifications in STEM at Levels 4 and 5 in engineering, computing, cyber-security, civil engineering and construction & building services.

The green skills agenda is embedded into our curriculum with units across several of our courses, particularly within building services, construction and engineering. There are discreet units on many courses and we are developing a course linking to low carbon transport. We are delivering workshops to our GCSE students to increase awareness of green skills and green jobs along with the employability skills needed for the future plus a speed networking session with employers with a green skills agenda. We are also engaging with local schools to develop partnership work linked to the green agenda.
