We're looking for an Assistant Manager to join our store in Westfield London, 40 hrs per week. If you're someone who thrives on working in a collaborative team, loves making customers feel incredible, and can turn big ideas into real results, this is your moment. It’s not all about what you can do for us, we will give you the tools, the support, and the time to develop your career in the direction you want to go

Founded in 1979, Phase Eight is an original, design-led womenswear brand that has grown from strength to strength since its conception, without compromising its integrity as a trusted retailer and a market leader. We are dedicated to dressing women of all ages, for all occasions, in fashionable and versatile clothing. We want women to feel as amazing as they look in our styles, so we focus on flattering day and evening silhouettes made from quality fabrics. We love modern florals and contemporary details and believe you should never underestimate the power of the perfect dress.

Since becoming part of TFG London in 2015, a listed retail conglomerate owning Phase Eight, Hobbs London & Whistles in the UK, we have seen growth and development prospects across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Lead by example on the shop floor and ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service
  • Assume all managerial duties in the absence of the Store Manager, striving to positively make an impact through efficient teamwork and leadership
  • Maintain a commercial approach to role and operations, working closely with the Store Manager to maximise branch performance
  • Assist the Store Manager in delivering the store vision and recognising key areas of strength within the team/store to anticipate future opportunities to keep our customers engaged

About You:

You are a customer-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience. You enjoy developing others, coaching and upskilling team members to help them perform at their best and reach their potential.

As a natural role model, you balance strong people leadership with commercial awareness, using your judgement and initiative to drive results while building a positive, inclusive team culture. Assertive, approachable and engaging, you build strong connections with customers and share your product knowledge with credibility and enthusiasm.
