Responsibilities:

• Recruiting, developing and motivating a high-performing, result-driven team to support in all aspects of running a store successfully
• Analysing customer profiles, buying trends and competitive information to drive business, communicate and provide feedback to the Area Manager
• Overseeing the execution and processing of incoming and outgoing donations
• Ensuring the visual presentation of the store always meets or exceeds Octavia standards
• Communicating, managing and executing all community engagement initiatives and events within budget and according to all policies and procedures
• Building relationships with the local community, recognising potential growth for volunteering and increasing donations
• Attending and contributing to regular team meetings and training, sharing best practices with Octavia’s core values
• As a brand ambassador for Octavia, supporting all fundraising activities and championing Community engagement

Person specification (what we’re looking for)

We are looking for an experienced store manager with strong commercial acumen who understands what is needed to make a charity store profitable. You will have excellent customer and people management skills, with the ability to drive sales, donations, and gift aid, and to manage a team of volunteers.
