The Anime Otaku is a newly opened specialist retail store located in Westfield London, offering a curated range of anime merchandise, collectables, figures, plushies, apparel, manga, and Japanese pop‑culture gifts. Known for its vibrant store environment and passionate customer community, The Anime Otaku aims to deliver an immersive retail experience for fans of all ages.

What you’ll be doing:

• Welcome customers and provide a friendly, engaging in‑store experience for anime, manga, and pop‑culture enthusiasts.
• Assist customers with product enquiries, recommendations, and locating specific items.
• Process payments accurately and handle returns in line with store procedures.
• Support stock management, including receiving deliveries, replenishing shelves, and organising displays—especially themed collections and new releases.
• Maintain high standards of shopfloor presentation, ensuring displays remain tidy, colourful, and inviting.
• Contribute to sales performance by delivering excellent service and supporting store targets.
• Stay up to date with popular anime titles, trends, and new merchandise to better support customer engagement and sales conversations.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑focused with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Confident approach to sales and meeting targets.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous retail or sales experience is desirable (not essential).
• Passion for anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture (not essential)
