Key responsibilities

What You’ll be doing:

• People are the reason you love retail! You’ll warmly welcome every customer and immerse them in the world of Hotel Chocolat.
• Discovering your customers’ needs and reasons for their visit through friendly conversation.
• Delighting your customers through product demonstrations and tasting sessions, ensuring to check for allergens throughout your time with them.
• Closing the sale and confidently recommending additional products, such as gift bags.
• Genuinely thank your customer for shopping with us, ensuring they leave happy.
• Processing transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Responding to customer feedback.
• Working with your team to support with deliveries and stock management, keeping the delivery area clear and tidy in line with our health and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining the appearance of the store and café areas to a high standard.
• If your store has a café area, you will prepare hot and cold drinks, ice cream, and snacks according to our guidelines and processes, whilst keeping the area immaculately clean. The customer experience is just as important; however, given the pace of a café, you will focus on upselling customers.
• Support where you can to the success of your store and team.

What we’re looking for:

To join us as a Sales Advisor, you don’t need retail experience to work here, just a commitment to being a true brand ambassador who is passionate, enthusiastic and customer-focused.
