We're looking for an ambitious retail leader to join us as our Piercing Specialist, taking ownership of one of our most exciting growth categories. This is a unique opportunity to step beyond store management and play a key role in shaping the future of our piercing business across the Company. Working closely with stores, field teams and Head Office functions, you'll drive commercial performance, elevate the customer experience, identify new opportunities, and help establish us as the go-to destination for ear piercing on the high street.

Success in this role is built on strong commercial leadership, a passion for developing people, and the ability to inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences while growing the category.

This is a highly visible role that combines commercial thinking, coaching, operational excellence, and innovation. You’ll spend time in stores across the business, supporting teams, driving standards, developing capability, and bringing new ideas to life. Whether it’s improving the customer journey, enhancing team confidence, or identifying growth opportunities, you’ll have a direct impact on the continued success of this exciting area of the business.

What will you do as a Piercing Specialist:

Grow the category

  • Own piercing performance across all stores
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales
  • Drive attachment sales
  • Support positioning as a leading high-street piercing destination

Store Experience

  • Define and maintain best-in-class piercing standards.
  • Ensure consistency in customer experience across all locations
  • Support stores in delivering a confident, safe and engaging service.

Store Visits

  • Regular store visits to review and drive performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion and experience
  • Support the rollout of new initiatives

Operational Management

  • Own all piercing-related administration (Licensing compliance) and training certificates
  • Simplify the process for stores
  • Ensure all legal and safety standards are met.

Innovate

  • Trial new ideas
  • Measure success and scale effective initiatives
  • Work with the central team to bring ideas to life
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive this category forward.

What you will need to succeed as a Piercing Specialist

  • Commercial thinker – understands how to drive sales and KPIs in this category
  • Comfortable with data, reporting, but using this data to drive insights and actions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive – brings ideas and solutions
  • Confident working with store teams, field teams and head office functions with the ability to challenge constructively ad gain buy in.
  • Can coach and support to drive positive improvements.
  • Hands on
  • Customer focussed

Desirable:

  • Experience in multi-site retail
  • Experience in piercing, beauty or operational improvement in stores.
