What you’ll be doing:

• Our SALES CONSULTANT / SALES ASSISTANT Teams are our ambassadors of these magical moments, & the heart of our business.
• Warm, reassuring customer service – you’ll create a welcoming and supportive experience for every family who walks through our doors.
• Product guidance & gentle consultation – listening closely to each customer’s needs, and helping parents-to-be feel confident in their choices.
• Store presentation & standards – maintain a beautifully presented store, handle purchases with care, and work closely with your team to ensure every visit is relaxed, friendly, and memorable.
• Accurate transaction handling – confident using tills, processing purchases with care, and supporting a smooth checkout experience.
• Team collaboration & communication – work well within a supportive team, contributing to a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for both customers and colleagues.
• Positive, customer‑focused attitude – naturally enjoy engaging with families, offering help, and leaving customers with a smile.

Skills & Attributes:

Experience

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or any fast‑paced front‑facing role is required.
• Confident supporting customers with product choices, ideally through advice‑based or consultative service.
• Experience handling till transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Experience working as part of a team, contributing to a positive, supportive store environment.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills — able to listen carefully and respond with clarity and warmth.
• Strong customer‑care skills, especially when supporting new or expecting parents.
• Good product‑guidance skills — able to explain features gently and help customers feel confident.
• High attention to detail, particularly in store presentation and maintaining visual standards.
• Reliable and organised, able to manage tasks calmly during busy or high‑pressure periods.
• Confident and accurate in cash handling and POS systems.

Personal Qualities & Attitude

• Warm, reassuring and naturally friendly — someone who enjoys helping people feel welcome.
• Patient, empathetic and considerate when supporting families making emotional or important purchases.
